I think this is my favorite recipe from the entire collection.

Ingredients:

1 cake maca yeast
a little water
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup lard
1 quart water
salt
flour

Directions:
This is the recipe:
1 cake maca yeast.
Add a little water and about a half teaspoon sugar and let stand 1/2 hour.
1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup lard, 1 quart water, salt and flour.
Set in morning.
Knead down all day about every half hour.
In evening, form into buns and bake in morning with a good fire.
