2 cups boiling water
2 cups Kellogg’s Bran Flakes
4 cups Kellogg’s All Bran Cereal
1 quart buttermilk
1 cup shortening
3 cups white sugar
4 eggs, beaten
5 cups flour
5 tsp soda
1 tablespoon salt


1. Mix boiling water with cereal. Let sit for a few minutes before adding other ingredients.

2. This batter keeps in the refrigerator for a week.

3. Bake muffins as needed.
